==How to Identify?==
Frozen worlds can be identified by the two thirds shaded circle icon [[File:GC3 Extreme Frozen 32.png|25px|frameless]] next to the planet and when hovering your mouse over the planet, it will indicate it's a frozen world. If the planet is not able to be colonized it will give a message in the description that indicates "Requires [[Technology|Extreme Planet]]".

==Description==
Frozen worlds are a bitterly cold planet full of ice. Unfortunately, for most races this makes it too cold of a planet that is not worth attempting to brave it. Because of this it is one of five extreme planets which require additional [[Technology|technologies]] or racial [[Abilities|abilities]] to be able to survive in this environment.

==Strategy==
One may use the [[Abilities|Adaptable]] racial ability to gain an early advantage and the ability to colonize this planet type, especially in a galaxy crowded with races and limited expansion opportunities. Suggestion to colonize normal planets first and extreme planets second. When choosing which frozen planets to colonize choose something on the border of your neighbors ZOC (zone of control [influence]) to attempt to persuade inhabitants in the area to your influence.

==Which races able to immediately colonize?==
Currently there are two races in ''Galactic Civilizations III'' that are able to colonize frozen planets at the start of the game; The [[File:25px-RaceLogo-Yor.png|25px|frameless|Yor Singularity]] [[Yor Singularity]], and any [[File:25px-RaceLogo custom.png|25px|frameless|Custom Race]] [[Faction_designer|custom faction]] with the [[Abilities|Adaptable]] race trait.
