The Navigators represent a faction in Galactic Civilizations IV. They are led by Copernicus.

A mysterious spacefaring race, the Navigators true homeworld has long been lost to history. Until recently, they viewed worlds as little more than meager platforms from which to build ships. But now something has changed...

Navigators' starfaring history has left them in a barren and infertile star system. But they control several colony ships, with part of their population still living on them. If they can make it safely to new worlds, they should receive a jump-start on other species.

<h2>History</h2>
A starfaring race, the Navigators have traveled from star to star, investigating the mysteries of the Precursors. This has gone on for so long that the history of their own homeworld has drifted into conflicting legends. But now, for mysterious reasons, their journey has recently stopped.Only among the most senior of the Navigators is it now acknowledged that the rapid advancement of other species will inevitably lead to the extinction of the Navigators, unless they abandon their nomadic lifestyle and become a true galactic civilization.
