The Perseids represent a faction in Galactic Civilizations IV. They are led by Drayven Lunaris.

This civilization discovered mysterious artifacts they buried deep underground. They believed that these were the remnants of a lost civilization and they tried to learn more about their culture, technology, and fate. Even stranger they found evidence of an advanced society that predates those ruins by thousands of years, and this pattern seems to have been occurring for millions. Now the Perseids are obsessed with discovering the fate of any of these societies and concerned that they will disappear too.
