GalCiv4:Solarii
The Solarii represent a faction in Galactic Civilizations IV. They are led by Helios the Speaker.
They cling to a fading star that once gave them life and light. They watch it shrink and dim. Their star will only last for a few more centuries and they lack the technology to extend its life, survive without it or escape their solar system. They have only a few generations left, and though no one who is currently alive will still be alive when their sun finally fades and their world freezes, they are already overcome with hopelessness.
